I’ve been known to modify the modern long boards. So with the design of the sting when the Long board was starting to move out of the 70’s going into the early 80’s, I came in with the sting applied to the long board, because it’s about turning. All my sting long boards are made for turning. If you step up into a nose ride, nose trim, it’s going to be the surfer that does that.

Now the two differences between the Big Boy Sting and the Big Brother Sting: the Big Brother is the fuller nose, the Big Boy is the pointed nose.

As for the fin set-up for these boards, the center fin is set back, so you can ride it as a thruster. The side fins can be set-up for thruster or 2+1 on both Sting models.
